It was Guild on Saturday and a fabulous day was had by all. As it was an open day, we had lots of visitors and got to meet friends old and new. Hopefully, some of them will trot along to the next meeting. It's going to be a goody actually, back to basics for spinners yum, lots of playing with fibre and picking up processing tips. My sort of meeting.
The demonstrations/teaching sessions were fantastic. We had spinning, needle felting, braiding and acid dying. All in all, loads to do and lots to see.
Sunday wasn't so good. We were looking forward to a nice afternoon mooching round a local craft fair. Unfortunately it was awful, and instead of being able to spend a lovely afternoon shopping for Chistmas pressies we were home in 20 minutes. BAH! HUMBUG! So ended up spending the afternoon cracking on with DH's Celtic jumper. So not a total write off.
